Portland Black Pride is definitely right around the corner! The 2011 festivities will be the same weekend as Portland Pride celebration & also the Juneteenth anniversary as well. I am really excited for this year's celebration, it gives the opportunity for our community to connect as well as give more of an insight on the Black GLBT community.
This year, there are many events for the youth & adults having the opportunity to celebrate who they are. Sponsored by Portland Black PFLAG chapter, we encourage all queers of color to attend. Portland Black Pride will also have a presence at the Pride Celebration on the waterfront as well. For more information please visit
